Our history in a nutshell
2020s
In 2025 we expanded geographically, opening offices first in Kuopio in January and then in Lappeenranta in October. In early 2021 the ownership base widened when Pauli Huusko and Antti Pekkarinen were invited as partners. With Antti, we expanded our services to cover corporate transactions and advisory. In 2020, a controlled handover took place when ownership of JTT transferred to Petri Makkonen.
2000s
From the late 1990s onwards, our operations grew steadily year by year to where we are today — the largest independent audit firm in North Karelia. This has been made possible by many skilled employees and our cooperation with local entrepreneurs.
1980s
Our roots reach back to 1988, when Seppo Åkerlund founded Joensuun Tilintarkastus Oy to support local entrepreneurs. From the start, the goal has been to offer reliable, long-term and easily approachable audit services.
